It is no surprise that IELTS score is so important for staying and studying in the UK. However, there are other options available to study in the UK with or without IELTS.

  • Students who have completed their education in English are eligible to study at UK universities without IELTS. To prove your proficiency in English, you will need to obtain a Certificate of Medium of Instruction (MOI), from an educational institution.
  • English scores: There are many universities in the UK that accept students without IELTS. They require the class 12 English Language scores. Universities may request the 10 th class marks in exceptional cases. Universities may accept proof of English proficiency if you score more than 70% in English 10th and 12th.
  • Online Interview: Very few universities will ask students to participate in online interviews via Skype. This interview will be used to assess your English Language proficiency.

Other than this, some universities may not require you to take IELTS and TOEFL scores. However, they may ask you to take a separate exam to show your English proficiency.
